Craft Yourself a Rug from an Old Coffee Bean Sack

Rug made from an old coffee bean sack

A little while ago I bought a whole load of old coffee bean sacks… And got the Best Free Cup of Coffee Ever. I had lots and lots of plans for what to do with my multitude of sacks… One of them was to make a Coffee Bean Sack Rug and I finally got around to doing it!

It is pretty easy. All you need is an old sack, some wide cotton binding, pins, thread and (ideally) a sewing machine. Take your time with pinning the binding – you want to make sure it is even…

Now all I need is lots more time to get on with my other coffee bean sack projects…
