Cooking Up The Basics – Garlic Free Houmous

Cooking Up The Basics – Garlic Free Houmous

I love houmous (hummus, humus?) but almost every shop bought variety has garlic in. Garlic is not for me. So I make my own Garlic Free Houmous. This recipe is super easy and super quick and it freezes really well.

Garlic Free Houmous is a great staple that is so versatile. Always fabulous in a sandwich, moreish as a dip also makes a great salad dressing – just add one or two tablespoons water to three tablespoons of Garlic Free Houmous and stir to get the desired consistency and dress your salad. If you want to make lots and store it in the freezer store it in little tubs you can just pull from the freezer and thaw in the fridge.
