This isn’t a curry! This is better than a curry! Today’s recipe is spicy, tangy, tasty and delicious Chick Peas and Kale in Tamarind Tomato Sauce. Wonderful with Basics – Perfect Plain Rice, gluten-free chapatis, and lime pickle. Especially great as a special Saturday supper.
I’m not a fan of generic ‘curry’ where ingredients merge in to one mass of texture and flavour. With Chick Peas and Kale in Tamarind Tomato Sauce the ingredients stand-up for themselves and make a fabulously coherent dish! It also works incredibly well with spiced, sautéed potatoes or even Crispy Roast Potatoes!
