This is without a doubt my favourite smoothie. It has oodles of flavour, isn’t too sweet and is packed with protein. Banana, Peanut Butter and Almond Smoothie is my go to when I have been for a run and aren’t quite sure what I want but I want something with protein. Try it, you might like it!
Often I find smoothies to have too much fruit, too much sugar and way too acidic. Believe it or not I’m not a massive fan of bananas but this smoothie is delicious. I always use unsweetened non-dairy milks. The sweetened varieties (apart from all the sugar) just taste horrid. The bananas make this sweet enough. I also use unsalted/ unsweetened peanut butter.
If you don’t eat peanuts sub another nut butter – almond for a double almond smoothie or hazelnut work a treat.
