Autumn has officially started (it was the autumn equinox on Friday) and autumn is one of my favourite times of year. Great produce, great atmosphere and weird weather. Autumn is also start of the run up to lots of festivals and celebrations. Halloween, Bonfire Night, Thanksgiving in the States, Christmas and all the other celebrations in between.
New and exclusive Gluten-Free | Vegan | Allergy-Friendly | Seasonal recipes this week on FriFran…
This week’s recipes are autumnal, colourful, decadent and delicious. And, of course, super seasonal.
Aubergines are wonderful at the moment but you do get a little bit tired of aubergine stews (don’t you)? And don’t you (sometimes) get a bit fed up with houmous too? Baba Ganoush is the perfect autumn change-it-up dish. Wonderful as a dip, spread or additional to stews and soups!
I am CRAZY about fermenting, preserving and pickling. I promised you Sauerkraut. You have Sauerkraut. Sooo easy, sooo delicious, sooo versatile and ridiculously moreish. I LOVE Sauerkraut. I’m going preserving crazy at the moment. 🙂
